Consultation fee and expenses involved in looking at the job are non-refundable.
Job as seen accepted on either an hourly rate or rate per room.
In general we will have discussed the job at some length by phone or e-mail.
A small deposit may be required in advance of the work to cover out-of-pocket expenses and the balance should be paid on completion of the work.
The client is ultimately responsible for the disposal of unwanted items. In most cases I will be able to assist you, but the items remain yours until they have been handed over to the appropriate destination.
The client is responsible for disposing of items that need to go to the local refuse disposal site. I may be able to advise, assist or accompany you but I am not responsible for the items.
It is the client's responsibility to ensure that any electrical equipment
to be used during the work is in safe electrical condition and good working
order.
Hazardous substances. If any
hazardous substances are found I reserve the right to take appropriate action and charge accordingly. The work may be held up while enquiries are being made and the substances or hazards are being dealt with.
